the London Tanners Razor Strop.. It's beautiful...bet it's yummy :) It's also waaaaaaaaaaay outside our budget at 40 GBP, which equates to $64.51 US, and add to that 17 GBP shipping to the states, comes to a whopping total of $ 91.92! Holy Crow! For only 1 toy :-(
So I'm going through my mail today, and I get mail from a place called Daily Grommet - they have reviews of new and innovative products. And low and behold in today's issue:
Razor Renew! It comes in 2 lengths 15.5" ($24.95) and 21.5" ($34.95)!!
The only thing - though I like the little tail on the business end, you'd probably have to remove it because of the metal ring....of course you could wrap it in leather....or if the weight of it scared you, you could leave it off all together or sew the two ends together with a whip stitch :)
Why am I grinning? Daddy said we could get one!
Alllllllright! Sometimes things just work out don;t they? So so awesome.. I had my first taste of leather yesterday. Must say... Definitely looking forward to the next! ;)
ReplyDelete:) :)
I just read that - literally! Leather...well I never knew, when Daddy used it the first time I was like...... wow....look at the colors, lolol. It is decidedly delicious....you want to do it again, don't you? :D
DeleteUm today? Tonight? Now? Yeah. I wanna do it again, hopefully soon. :) Haaaahahaha about the colors! I have more handprints than stripes this time, we'll see what the next time brings! :)
DeleteLOL, now you sound like me! It just gets better :-P
DeleteYay for June! Thanks again for the chat today ;)

It's on my wish list, tori...call me a glutton - I'd love to try a Lochgelly tawse...I know I must be crazy, they're pretty heavy. It's on my wish list :D
DeleteI'm laughing- and smiling since I just visited ronnie and read your comment about leather. Yay for you!
ReplyDelete:"> lol, Minelle, I cannot say enough, it's funny how we all find a favorite material or favorite toy...I'd love to know how our mind and body selects that favorite, what criteria it uses? But boy, leather....speaks my language ;)
DeleteGGS are amazing. The sleep after is truly the best sleep of my life. Better for stress than any anxiety pills out there. I have one thing I would love to find time to try ggs outside in the snow under the stars. Sounds as yummy as that strap. Have fun
ReplyDelete*smiles* mine is in the middle of a rainstorm, Annie :D And I'd also like one under a waterfall! Wouldn't that be heaven??
DeleteMaster has a leather strop...it is deelish!!! Leather is always my first choice. Love the waterfall idea...that would be awesome!
ReplyDeletehugs abby
LOL, deelish is right, abby. We talked about wanting to invest in some, so his last deployment I bought some for him for his birthday. Who would have know I would LOVE them... I was kind of scared of them to start. Wouldn't that be incredible? ...the waterfall? someday :-P
DeleteWOOOHOOOOO I finally found your blog my friend... I happen to be a leather lover myself... Wood is no good... I am amazed at how similar we are... Big kisses coming your way... mmmmmwhhah
ReplyDeleteDana
Welcome, Dana :) I'm glad you found us, my friend! LOL Wood is no good. Daddy's favorite is wood, and I endure because I am his good girl, and because I acknowledge that sometimes I need it...but he has begun to say he is developing a distinct liking for leather because of what it does to me :-P
DeleteLike Minelle, I am making my rounds and stopped by Ronnie's blog first and now I've made it to yours and so funny that you are both talking about the leather strap! Wishing you and Ward a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi, SNP :) I saw the other day where she said she would review it and I couldn't wait, it has been on my wish list! Also on my list is a razor strop, they have some nasty, used ones on eBay, lol. And the LT one that I LOVE, but can't afford. Imagine my surprise when this came across my vanilla mail feed today, lol. And at a price we can afford! It's like the lottery!
DeleteThanks, SNP, happiest of weekends to you!
Yay for you June! Enjoy! :)

Roz
Thanks, Roz - I cannot wait!!!!!! Gonna be yummo!
Delete(((hugs)))
I am so with you on the love of leather, June...though I come at it from the opposite side. Anyway, hope the strop works out well. I'm a fan of DIY BDSM, and admire those who see the possibilities of everyday items. Well done, and enjoy!
ReplyDeletelol - Daddy, too, Jake. I've made some toys out of coax cable and window spline. I have some leather scraps from recovering dining chairs and I thought about trying to make a dragon's tongue - I wish I knew more about leather working.....especially now, lol. Thanks!
DeleteI am not so in love with leather straps, paddles or belts. Yikes. However, If I wanted this particular toy, I would make it. I am crafty that way. A quick trip to Tandy Leather for a belt blank, leather die, rivets and a D ring for easy hanging. I could have that done in an hour and ready for use in a day. I made a smaller version of the London Tanners strap several years ago. Easy.
ReplyDeleteOh great leather swami - may I apprentice? Seriously, Rose, I'd pay ya for DIY lessons :D Daddy seconds that - seriously, Rose, please hook us up,lol
DeleteThe Better Built Bondage Book is a great place to start. I would love a DIY work shop. Now that would be fun with a bunch of spankos.
DeleteThanks, Rose! Yeah, that would be so very awesome! I can do coax and window spline toys, you can do leather, Conina rope floggers, Bonnie wood paddles....I think we should do it!
DeleteHi June!
ReplyDeleteI so love leather too - even though it stings more than you'd think!
We get all our paddles from the London Tanners - but we live in Europe
so shipping isn't a problem.
I just ordered the boudoir paddle for Jack's birthday.
It's small and round. He loves implements with handles because he is more in control
and it hits the mark.
If you live in the States, there might be a shop like The London Tanners.
Hope you find what you need!
Hugs
Jack's Jill
I haven't found one....thinking hey! If Rose can teach me, I can open a shop myself, lol. How cool would that be?
DeleteIsn't it amazing where implements can be found? BTW I'm with you, I'll take the leather belt over the hairbrush any day.
ReplyDeleteOmigosh, leather makes all right with the world, lol.
